Due to the impending storm the show with Walter Beasley at the Birchmere on February 6th has been RESCHEDULED for Sat. Feb 20th. Refunds are available if you can’t make the new date. All tickets for the 6th will be honored on the 20th. If you’d like to come to the show on the 20th tickets are available here via ticketmaster for just under $40.

Lastly, I found this video of one of my favorite singers, Sade. Her new album is coming out w/in the next week, methinks. The video is a little promo about her creative process. I really enjoyed watching it…can definitely relate to what she says in the later part of the video. She talks about how uncomfortable she is in public (but conversely how comfortable she is when presenting herself musically). Dope.
Oh, and she’s gorgeous. To steal a line from James Baldwin, she looks like she’s wearing sunshine. I’m sure I messed that quote up…Anywho I’m rambling. Ya’ll be safe now, ya hear?!
